We have recently cut prices across the board for new Business VoIP customers. Not only is the monthly per-phone cost cheaper, but we have also increased the standard amount of minutes which come with accounts!

Instead of an expensive fee like we use to charge in the past to cover the cost of physical phones, we now offer an option to rent the phones for as little as $1/month. Today marks the first day of operation in our new Chicago facility. Along with our regular top-of-the-line carriers, we have also increased our technical support staff to accommodate for the new location and increase in hardware to manage. You can rest assured increased performance along with better availability of staff.

The Chicago expansion came after we had a demand for an increase in data storage from our clients. We were successfully able to negotiate a deal with one of our existing providers that has space in Chicago to provide this additional data storage at a fraction of what it costs in a few of our other facilities. We are excited to announce today that after 4 years of having the same design on KWDServices.com, we have finally released a new design and user experience. This new design includes our new branding (logos, colors, etc) that we released last summer along with our employee polo shirts and our new business cards thanks to Polaris Press, a local Woodbridge printing company.

After over 6 months of planning, we are opening our brand-new data center location in Reston, VA for business today. This location, unlike our other locations, is fully managed by KWD Services, Inc. staff and all of our hardware is owned 100% by us. While our other locations are high quality and we own some of the hardware, the fact that we do not have easy physical access due to the location makes our options less flexible and it makes it more difficult to provide service to our customers.

Our new location is located in Equinix Reston and boasts high security, along with redundant power and HVAC systems and multiple Tier 3 backbones. All of the hardware we installed is top-of-the-line and all servers were custom built by our own employees to ensure maximum quality. For improved security, data center access has been restricted to very few employees and all colocation clients require escorts. Power and HVAC systems are monitored 24/7 and serviced by data center technicians on a weekly basis to ensure reliability. Our BGP4 mix of multiple Tier 3 backbones including Level3, Global Crossing, AT&T, Internap, Time Warner, and XO Communications ensures connectivity 24/7/365 and high performance, especially for bandwidth intensive clients.

We will continue to lease space out of our other facilities to provide geographic redundancy; however, the majority of our services will be provided out of the new Reston facility.
